#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations #fabulousFriday Hey there! I have a fun project to show you for “Fabulous Friday.” It’s something I’ve had in my head for a little while and I thought it was about time to bring my idea to life. I’ve made an assortment of do-it-yourself love notes and a cute little box to keep them in.
The 3″ by 3″ love notes are do-it-yourself because I haven’t adhered the sentiment pieces to them. Instead, I stamped a variety of sentiments from the “Daisy Lane,” “Good Morning Magnolia,” “Free as a Bird,” and “Itty Bitty Birthdays” stamp sets in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock. I’ve cut each of these out with a Stitched Nestled Label Die. And I’ve adhered Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each label so the recipient can choose the sentiment. Clever, huh?
I decorated a Mini Pizza Box with Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper. I stamped the larger daisy from the “Daisy Lane” stamp set three times in Soft Suede Ink onto Crushed Curry Card Stock. I punched these out with the Daisy Punch. I curled the petals with a Bone Folder and adhered them together with Glue Dots. I cut the leaves from Garden Green Cardstock with the leaf dies from the Magnolia Memories Dies. I adhered these to the daisy with Glue Dotes. I cut a piece of Soft Suede Card Stock with a Stitched Nestled Label Die and adhered it to the top of the box with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered one of the stamped sentiment pieces to that with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the daisy with a Stampin’ Dimensional, too. I plopped a large Gold Faceted Gem in the center of the flower. So pretty!
I cut four 3″ by 6″ pieces of Whisper White Card Stock and scored them each at 3″ to make the base for the love notes. Then I cut four 2-7/8″ by 5-5/8″ Mosaic Mood DSP pieces I adhered these to the love note bases. I added strips of Mosaic Mood DSP and a small Gold Faceted Gem onto each card. Here’s where the labels will go on the cards.
I paired each of the cards with a 3″ by 3″ Whisper White Envelope and put them into the Mini Pizza Box along with the labels. This would make a great gift, don’t you think?
