Pretty Petals Just Because

Today I got my inspiration from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog and the sweet Best Year Ever designer series paper that you can get for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration.
 
I had the Petal Potpourri stamp set on my desk, so I decided to use that. I also found a scrap of Crisp Cantaloupe that I’d already cut with the Ovals Framelits Collection. So, I grabbed a sheet of Coastal Cabana for my card base, added a piece of Best Year Ever DSP, and plopped the oval down. So, that was the basic sketch. 


Next, I stamped the solid flower from the Petal Potpourri once in Crushed Curry and again in Calypso Coral. (Well, first, I stamped them in Crisp Cantaloupe and Hello Honey because I wasn’t paying attention–LOL!) I punched the flowers with the Flower Medallion punch and then attached them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a button from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack to the center of each flower. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the And Many More set and punched it with the Banner Punch. I tied a bit of Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Best Year Every Accessory Pack–also a FREE Sale-A-Bration choice–around the banner. So sweet!
