#stampinup
I’m still trying to use some of the “Adventure Bound” Designer Series Paper Stack. I love, love, love this paper and I’ve horded it for too long. Today I pulled out the sheet with the river rocks on it. It’s gorgeous on its own, but it needed a little something if I would enter it into this week’s Nacho Average Sketch Challenge!
So after I’d chosen this DSP sheet, my color scheme was set. I used a Sahara Sand card base and a Basic Black mat. I adhered the river rocks onto Basic Black mat. I added a length of 7/8″ Natural Cotton Ribbon and adhered this to the card base.
Next, I stamped the globe from “The Open Sea” stamp set in Jet Black Stazon onto a piece of Vellum Cardstock. I used my heat tool to set the image because I didn’t want it to smear on the Vellum. I punched this piece with the 2″ Circle Punch. I punched another 2″ circle in Sahara Sand and adhered the vellum piece with 2 glue dots hidden in the globe image.
Using the Circle Framelits collection, a cut another circle from Basic Black to mount my globe onto. I attached the globe assembly to the card with Stampin’ Dimenstionals.
Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the “And Many More” stamp set in Jet Black Stazon onto a piece of Sahara Sand. I flagged the end of this piece with the Banner Punch and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
