#stampinup It’s almost fall here in the United States–although it still feels like summer to me. For this Creation Station hop we’re featuring Fall items–stamp sets and specialty papers.
One of my favorite sets from the Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog is the “Among the Branches” set along with the coordinating Woodland embossing folder. I thought a Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bag might look good embossed with the Woodland embossing folder. I ran it through my Big Shot and it didn’t look good–it looked AWESOME!! I was so pleased how it turned out.
The fall stamp from the “Among the Branches” set says, “Autumn Wishes and Tasty Dishes.” I thought it would be fun to turn the circle into a ribbon–like a prize at a county fair.
I stamped the sentiment in Crushed Curry onto a Whisper White scrap. I cut the circle with one of the Circles Collection Framelits and two additional circles in graduated sizes in Early Espresso and Calypso Coral. I added an Early Espresso Banner cut with the Banners Framelits and topped it with a piece of Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper cut with the next smaller sized Banner Framelit.
Continuing the banner theme, I punched two Calypso Coral cardstock banners with the Banner Punch and added them to the back of the medallion before I adhered it to the banners.
I wrapped a length of Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon around the bag and adhered the “blue brown ribbon” to the bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I completed the ribbon by adding a Gold Glimmer Paper star cut with the Stars Framelits collection.
These gift bags would be so cute filled with some homemade pumpkin cookies. They would make great neighbor gifts!
Here’s a close-up of the bag and medallion–look at how cool the embossing is!
