#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations I am absolutely in love with the new “Foxy Friends” stamp set!! I squealed when they showed it at the Stampin’ Up OnStage event in April. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and play. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get down to it!
This fortnight’s Global Design Project challenge is a theme: PARTY! What better way to party than with a kitten party?! In my house, we have 3 cats, so it’s a kitten party every day!
I stamped the kitty in Calypso Coral onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock. I added his face and paws in Basic Gray Archival Ink. The photopolymer “Foxy Friends” stamp set makes it easy to position your stamps just so. I also added a heart in the kitty’s hands by inking up the heart-bubble stamp and then using a baby wipe to clean off everything except the medium-sized heart.
I cut Mr. Kitty out with the Circles Layering Framelits and then added him to a scalloped circle also from the Layering Circle Framelits. I love, love, LOVE how the new circles (and squares and ovals) framelits layer. So much better than our previous framelits!
I tied a length of 1/8″ Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon onto a piece of A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper before adhering it to a Calypso Coral card base. I adhered the stamped kitty onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish the card, I stamped a banner from the “Thoughtful Banners” set in Basic Gray Archival Ink onto a Calypso Coral scrap and then added the sentiment from the same set. I punched this out with the Duet Banners Punch and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Super simple and super sweet! I love this kitty!!
