#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations I squealed with delight when I spied the “This Little Piggy” stamp set in the 2017-18 annual catalog and I jumped for joy when the demonstrators who attended the OnStage event got this set as an all-attendee giveaway! This set is adorable! Except for one thing: I needs to be colored and I don’t like to color. Well, I had to get over myself because I really love these little piggies!
I stamped the pig in Basic Gray Archival Ink onto a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock. This paper can stand up to coloring with Blender Pens and, if you don’t over-wet it, Aqua Painters. I squeezed some Powder Pink Ink into the lid of the ink pad and picked up the color with a Blender Pen to color the pig. I added some Tranquil Tide to the grassy area. Once this piece was dry, I cut it out with one of the Layering Circles Framelits and adhered it to a Tranquil Tide scalloped circle that I cut with one another of the Layering Circles Framelits. I actually cut the scalloped circle from the center of the mat behind the Designer Series Paper!!
I stamped the sentiment in Tranquil Tide onto another piece of Shimmery White Card Stock and cat that out with an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
I adhered a 3-3/4″ by 5″ piece of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper to a 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″ piece of Tranquil Tide Card Stock. I wrapped a length of Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon around these pieces before adhering them to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base.
To finish the card, I added the piggy circle and the sentiment oval to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Now tell me that you aren’t in love with this little piggy!!
