#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations I’ve been sharing a series of cards made with the “Abstract Impressions” stamp set this week. (Check back at this week’s blog posts if you’ve missed any.) I’m sticking with the abstract theme for today’s card, but with a different stamp set. I received this card at a swap at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering. It was made by Naomi Ruth.
Naomi started with a 3-3/4″ by 5″ Very Vanilla Card Stock panel. She stamped the outline vase images from the “Varied Vases” stamp set in Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake, and Call Me Clover in two rows across the panel. She also stamped the scalloped outline and the “happy birthday” sentiment in Blueberry Bushel. Next, she wrapped a length of Blueberry Bushel 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon around the panel before adhering it to a 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″ Blueberry Bushel Card Stock mat. She then adhered everything to a Very Vanilla Card Stock card base.
Next, Naomi stamped each of the solid vases in Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake, and Call Me Clover onto Very Vanilla Card Stock. Naomi punched these out with the Vases Builder Punch and adhered them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Naomi’s card is very clever! I love the design and these colors, don’t you?
