#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations Attending Stampin’ Up events is always fun, but it’s even more fun when it’s a BIG event–like the 30th anniversary celebration. We had over 7,000 demonstrators attending the OnStage Live event in Orlando at the beginning of November. And many, many of them came from different parts of the world.
As you know, one of the highlights of a Stampin’ Up event is the swapping! I love to get cards made with stamp sets that I don’t own or to get a card made with a set I do own, but with another designer’s twist. Today’s card is a set I don’t own–“Enjoy Life”–and it came all the way from Australia!
The designer is Pam Jangor and she participated in the masculine card swap. I love this card, don’t you?!
Pam started with a 3-1/2″ by 4-3/4″ Shimmery White Card Stock panel. She stamped the main image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink three times–without reinking. This technique is called generation stamping and there are three “generations” of the image on the card. She stamped the sentiment in the corner also in Tuxedo Black.
Pam adhered her stamped panel to a 4″ by 5-1/4″ piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and then onto a Sahara Sand Card Stock card base.
To finish her card, Pam added a length of Burlap Ribbon and a knotted piece of Linen Thread to the corner of the card. I think this arrangement is genius and I’m going to use it in a card sometime!! She also added a Basic Black Faceted Dot.
This card is super cool! Come back tomorrow to see another great card I received at OnStage Live!
