If you know me, you know that I’m a loyal customer of Target. It has everything I need–including Starbucks! And Stampin’ Up’s Attention Shoppers Stamp Set and Die Bundle is right on Target! I wasn’t sure about this set until Mikaela Titheridge demonstrated it at the OnStage event this spring, and then I was sold!
For today’s card, I recreated the Target logo and used one of my favorite color combos: Basic Black, Basic White, and a pop of color–Real Red! Wouldn’t it be great to include a Target gift card with this?
To make the card, start with a Basic Black Card Stock card base. Emboss a 4″ by 5-1/4″ Basic White Card Stock panel with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing folder and adhere to the card front. Use the Attention Shoppers Dies to cut the shopping card and wheels from Real Red and Basic Black Card Stock and adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Cut Real Red and Basic White circles with the Stylish Shapes Dies, and if you still have the retired 1/4″ Circle Punch, make a small Real Red circle. Glue the circles in a stack to form the Target logo and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this to the shopping cart.
Stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Something Fancy Dies. Adhere this to a larger Real Red circle and then adhere to the card front.
Pretty easy, huh? And super cute! Speaking of cute, here’s me with my Target “boyfriend.”
