I’ve been playing with my Blendabilities lately–trying to get the hang of them. You see, I don’t like to color. I know that’s hard to believe for someone who stamps, but it’s true. I’m never satisfied with the way my color looks–not with markers or even crayons. I guess I’m my own worst critic.
All that changed when Stampin’ Up introduced it’s line of alcohol-based ink markers–Blendabilities. These markers lay down smooth color that blends! I think that’s what I didn’t like about markers and crayons–they don’t blend.
PSA: Stampin’ Up just suspended their line of Blendabilities due to manufacture quality issues. This makes me a little bit mad and a big bit sad. But I have to say what I always say about Stampin’ Up: this company sells quality merchandise. They will not sell anything that isn’t up to their high quality standards. I’m sure this quality issue will soon be rectified and the awesome Blendabilities will offered again soon!!
When I saw the “Cheerful Critters” stamp set, I knew it would be on my first order from the Occasions catalog. Those little dudes are so cute!! And when I saw this week’s Fab Friday sketch challenge, I knew this could be a match made in heaven
Hooray for Cheerful Critters
