#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations Did you know that when a Stampin’ Up demonstrator reaches the $1 million sales mark, he or she gets to design his or her own stamp set? How awesome is that?! I don’t think I’ll be hitting that mark any time soon, but more and more demonstrators are hitting the $1 million in sales mark. One of those who did that is Brandy Cox and she designed the gorgeous “Hold on to Hope” stamp set and matching Cross of Hope Framelits.
Today’s card is another fabulous card I received at the Proverbial Stampers & Friends new catalog gathering. It was designed by Dorothy Martin and it’s simply gorgeous.
Dorothy started by embossing a 3-3/4″ by 5″ Whisper White Card Stock panel with the Ruffled Embossing Folder. She adhered that to a 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″ Powder Pink Card Stock mat and then onto a Whisper White Card Stock card base. Dorothy stamped the floral spray from the “Hold on to Hope” stamp set, twice, in Powder Pink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut it out with the matching Cross of Hope Framelit. She cut the cross out of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper with another Cross of Hope Framelit.
Next, she stamped the butterfly in Highland Heather Ink and the “God Is Love” sentiment in Blackberry Bliss Ink–both onto Whisper White Card Stock. She cut these out with their matching Cross of Hope Framelits. Dorothy arranged all these elements on the card and used a combination of Fine-Tip Glue Pen and Stampin’ Dimensonals to adhere them to the card.
Finally, Dorothy added two Pearl White Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card for a subtle bit of bling. Dorothy, your card is simply lovely!!
