#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations Welcome back from the weekend! Did you get a bunch of things crossed off your holiday to-do list? Not me! I went to Arkansas to pick up my daughter from college. She’s studying abroad in January, so we had to pack up her dorm room and put loads of things in storage. She surprised me by being really organized and we got the job done in no time! We had time to relax in the hotel room most of Friday. That was a real treat for us!
I have some more great cards to show you this week–cards that I received during swaps at Stampin’ Up’s OnStage Live in November. Today’s card uses one of my favorite suites in the Annual Catalog: Nature’s Poem. It was designed by Stephanie Anderson from Minnesota. I love the way she combined Blackberry Bliss with copper. Take a look.
Stephanie cut the tree from a Copper Foil Sheet using one of the Nature’s Roots Framelits. She adhered that to a 2-1/4″ by 3-1/4″ Basic Black Card Stock mat. She threaded a copper Leaf Trinket through a length of Blackberry Bliss Nature’s Twine and wrapped it around the mat. Next, she adhered this to a 2-3/4″ by 4-1/2″ piece of Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.
Stephanie adhered a length of Burlap Ribbon to the back of this piece before using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere everything to a 3-3/4″ by 5″ Very Vanilla Card Stock Panel. Next, she adhered this to a 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″ Basic Black Card Stock mat and then onto a Blackberry Bliss Card Stock card base.
She stamped a sentiment from the “Rooted in Nature” stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink onto a 1-1/4″ by 2-1/2″ Very Vanilla piece. She adhered that to a 1-1/2″ by 2-3/4″ Basic Black mat. She adhered this directly to the card. So pretty!
Remember, you can get the “Rooted in Nature” stamp set and the Nature’s Roots Framelits in a bundle–saving you 10% off the price of ordering the items separately. If you’d like any of the items to make your own card, just click on the images below and you’ll be taken directly to my online store where you can make your purchases.
Come back every day this week to see some more wonderful cards I got in my swaps in Orlando!!
