I recently hosted a birthday card stamp-a-stack and I designed three very different cards for my stampers to make. This one features the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE with a qualifying order during the 2024 Sale-a-Bration time period (until February 29, or while supplies last. The DSP is so, so pretty that I had to use several designs for this card!!
I used the awesome and versatile Nested Essentials Dies to cut three different sized chevrons of DSP. I adhered them directly to a 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″ Lost Lagoon Card Stock panel that I embossed with hatch-mark Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered that to a 4″ by 5-1/4″ Basic White Card Stock mat and then onto a Pretty Peacock Card Stock card base.
Here’s a TUESDAY PROTIP for you: To make your sentiment really pop, emboss it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I stamped a sentiment from the “Phrases for All” stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink onto Lost Lagoon Card Stock. I quickly sprinkled on Clear Stampin’ Emboss Power before the ink dried and set it with my Heat Tool. Isn’t that the coolest? You’re welcome 😉
I cut the sentiment out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I tied a silver bow from the Simply Elegant Trim combo and stuck it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot, tucking it under the sentiment piece. I added three silver Festive Pearls to finish the card. My stampers really loved it!!
