My BFF, Lynn Birus, and I have been stamping together for years. Since we’re both retired now–we’ve stepped up our class offerings and are hosting joint events. (You can see our upcoming events by clicking on the L&K Stamping Events tab above.) Over the weekend, we hosted an open house to celebrate the new Stampin’ Up catalog. Come along (virtually) for a little peek into our event.
My bestie is really “extra” and she thinks about every detail! Seriously, check out the snacks! Can you spot the new In Colors?
And look at this punch! Can you see the splash of summer?
We started out by walking our guests through the new catalog and giving them tips, from using the handy-dandy index to using the online store in conjunction with the catalog. Everyone oohed and aahed over the new product.
In the foreground of the pic above, you’ll see the 2024-2025 In Color worksheet that everyone completed so they could take home samples of the new colors. We also set up a new product station so our guests could see these products IRL. (We had a card sample table, too, but I forgot to take a pic.)
Next, each guest completed three projects with new products and new colors. First up is the card I designed using the Spotlight on Nature stamp set and 2024-2026 In Colors. Each guest chose a packet with their favorite In Color.
Of course Lynn pulled out all the stops for her projects! First up is her sticky note holder. Guests again chose their favorite In Color. The outside is decorated with the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper. I chose Peach Pie for my project. The bow is Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon and the leaves are cut with one of the Unbounded Love Dies.
Lynn also designed a card using the Unbounded Love Stamp set and dies. I made mine in Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock. The Summer Splash Bordered Ribbon and Shimmer Gems.
Our guests loved the projects and enjoyed our event, as you can see!
