It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a cloud! It’s up in the air! What a fun theme for our May 2024 Creation Station blog hop! There are so many stamp sets in the Stampin’ Up catalog that would fit the bill for this topic. I know our design team is going to WOW you with their choices. Let’s see if I can get a little wow for mine.
I used the Bright Skies stamp set and dies for my one-two-three Z-fold card. I learned this fold from Robin Armbrecht. It’s super easy and super cute!
Since Sale-a-Bration is (well) over, I had to find another designer series paper that would work for the card and with the Bright Skies stamps. Believe it or not, the adorable Lily Pond Lane 6″x6″ DSP worked out perfectly! Instead of using the the “main” side with the ducks and fish and frogs, I used the back sides with the more subtle designs. As a bonus–the sheets I chose for my card have two of the new 2024-2026 In Colors: Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie.
I used the undulating Bright Skies die to cut the Pretty in Pink floral design that I used for my ground, Then I cut clouds from the Pretty Peacock and Gray Granite DSP pieces. The sun is cut from the Peach Pie piece.
To finish the card I added a bow from the Pretty Peacock and Gold Metallic Ribbon and three Blooming Pearls.
So how do you think I did? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Next up on our hop is Julie Beltramo at Just Julie B Stampin’. I’m sure she has something amazing to show you! And please hop around to all our blogs and visit us on Instagram, too. You can start with me @kkstamper.
