I know it’s only July, but it’s never too early to start preparing for Christmas–especially when you hand make about 100 cards! I’ve been hosting Christmas card stamp-a-stacks for several years (each August, September, October, and November) and I need to start designing in July! Fortunately, Stampin’ Up has my back and they’ve released some great Christmas stamp sets under their Online Exclusives.
My favorite is the Season of Green & Gold Mega Suite. Why “mega,” you may ask? Well, the suite contains the Greetings of the Season stamp set and dies bundle, the Golden Greenery stamp set and dies bundle, the gorgeous Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Gracefull Greenery Vellum Specialty DSP, scrumptious Very Vanilla 3/4″ Satin Ribbon, and what’s sure to be my go-to embellishment of the season–the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries. Whew! That’s a lot! And since you can get it all with one item number (164121), you’re really only buying “one thing.”
This card really showcases the Season of Green and Gold Specialty DSP and it is super simple to make!
The video tutorial is below, but in case you can’t see the cutting dimensions, here they are:
- Old Olive Card Stock 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Very Vanilla Card Stock 5-1/4″ x 4″
- DSP 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Very Vanilla Card Stock 7-1/2″ x 3-1/2″, scored at 3-3/4″
- DSP 3-1/4″ by 3-1/2″
Here’s a quick tutorial on making this card.
