It’s All About Valentine’s Day!

When my kids were small, I loved to create a special Valentine’s Day card for each of them. But now that they’re grown, I’ve gotten out of the habit. But this year I’ve made three cards using Online Exclusives product that I’d love to share with you. Are you ready for it?*

If you don’t know what “Online Exclusives” are, well, the name says it all. It’s Stampin’ Up product that’s only available online. You won’t see it in any catalog. I always tell my customers that they need to look at the annual catalog, the mini catalog, and the products list online. There is so much more that Stampin’ Up offers, especially if you know where to look. For my Valentine’s Day cards, I’ve used some of the goodies featured in the Marbled Elegance Suite.

This card uses a Petal Pink card stock card base and a little bit of the gorgeous Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper. I cut a heart from Brushed Gold Foil using one of the Hearts of Elegance Dies and tied on a bit of Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon. See those cutie-patootie Gold Adhesive-Backed Hearts? I used a couple of non-Valentine’s Day stamp sets for these cards–this one is from the Attention Shoppers set.

Next, is this sweet heart-shaped card that uses some more of the Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP and another Brushed Gold Foil heart.

I love the gold marbling in the DSP and pairing it with a Gold Foil heart and Gold Twisted Thread is so pretty! I cut another Basic White heart with the Heart of Elegance Dies for the inside and stamped a sentiment from the Hooray for Surprises stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink. This is such a sweet Valentine’s Day card!

I used all the 2024-2026 In Colors for the last Valentine’s Day card. I used several of the Heart of Elegance Dies to cut out the hearts–notice how some have stitching around the edge and some have embossed designs. I also used the Modern Herringbone Embossing Folder to add some interest in the background–along with the Gold Adhesive-Backed Hearts and Gold Twisted Thread.
