Did you notice our Creation Station Design Team’s new banner? The start of a new year is always a great time to freshen things up a bit. It’s also a great time for a Sale-a-Bration! It’s that wonderful time of the Stampin’ Up! year when you can earn FREE product with qualifying purchases. This month our design team is featuring projects using some of those Sale-a-Bration products. Have a look at mine and then continue around the hop so that you can see all the offerings that will be available starting January 7!
I’ve used two Sale-a-Bration products for my project–one of which is the star of the show and the other that has a small supporting role! The star of the show is the gorgeous Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper. You’ll see it on the latched greeting card box (tutorial here) and on each of the cards. See if you can spot the other Sale-a-Bration item!
The latched greeting card box is made with Melon Mambo card stock and the sentiment–from the Birthday Celebration stamp set–is stamped in Blackberry Bliss Ink. Four cards (and envelopes) fit nicely inside the box.
I used a different sheet of the Sale-a-Bration Bloom Impressions DSP on each of the cards and matched the ink and card stock: Daffodil Delight, Blueberry Bushel, Petunia Pop, and Blackberry Bliss. Birthday Celebration is a NEW stamp set that will be available on January 7.
The cards employ a fun fold called a back fold–the right hand panel bends backwards to open the card. Here are your cutting and folding dimensions.
- Card base 5-1/2″ by 7-1/2″ scored at 3-1/4″ and 6-1/2″
- Basic White (2 pieces) 5-1/4″ by 3″ (one for the card top and one for the inside)
- Basic White 5-1/4″ by 7/8″
- DSP 5-1/8″ by 2-7/8″ and 5-1/8″ by 3/4″
