Impressions Abloom

Perhaps you know that my BFF shares my passion for Stampin’ Up and creating beautiful cards. You might also know that she and I have a little venture called L&K Stamping Events and that we host monthly get-togethers with friends to share our love for card making and paper crafting. We’re hosting a Sips & Blooms One-Day Getaway Mini Retreat on June 14 (details below) and one of the featured stamp sets we’ll be using is the gorgeous Impressions Abloom. We’re going to be blitzing our event over on our Facebook page L&K Stamping Events and showing card ideas that you’ll be able to create during the retreat because we’re bringing our stamping studios to YOU!

But first, I want to show you this gorgeous mother’s day card that my daughter commissioned Lynn to make for me. Lynn used the Impressions Abloom stamp set and dies along with several of the current In Colors. Let’s take a look!

I love all the die-cut elements in this set–look at the texture on the flowers and leaves, and centers. And the Impressions Abloom dies cut those cute tiny flowers too! Lynn shared a TON of card making tips during our Facebook Live, which you can view at the link above or on our YouTube channel. The best technique–and a new one to me–was an easy way to arrange all the die-cut elements before adhering them to the card as one consolidated element. Mind blown!
