As soon as I saw the Botanical Textures Suite in Stampin’ Up’s Online Exclusives, I knew I had to have ALL of it! The suite has TWO sets of Designer Series Paper, a corrugated embossing folder (swoon!), ribbon, embellishments, and the Textured Notes stamp set and dies. I’ve seen some amazing cards made with this suite, but I’ve only just begun playing with it.
Today I have a simple card that showcases the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper, along with a simple sentiment from the Textured Notes stamp set.

I started building the card front with a 5-1/4″ by 4″ piece of Basic White Card Stock. I cut 1″ by 5″ strips from two different sheets of the DSP and one 3″ by 5″ piece from the lighter DSP sheet. I adhered the lighter DSP strip to the right side of the Basic White mat. Then I carefully tore the darker woven DSP piece down the long side and adhered it on top. Next. I stamped the larger leaf spray image from the Textured Notes stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink onto the 3″ by 5″ DSP piece and tore it down the left side before adhering it to the Basic White mat. I adhered this to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Texture Notes set in Pecan Pie onto Basic White and cut it out with one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I then took a length of the White 1/4″ Ribbon from the Suite and “swooped” it back and forth, adhering it to the card front with a swipe of Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish the card front, I added three white Neutral Matte Dots.
I don’t normally stamp the insides of my cards, but the Textured Notes stamp set has such beautiful images, I couldn’t resist stamping a Soft Sea Foam leaf spray inside to mimic the outside.

I hope to be showing more cards using the Botanical Textures Suite, featuring the Textured Notes stamps and dies soon! Stay tuned!
