I’ve made a bunch of cards with the Humble Home bundle and I’ve featured two earlier this week. The first was a welcome card and the second was a Christmas card. Today’s card is a thank you from home card. I really love working with this bundle because, as I hope I’ve shown, it’s quite versatile–especially when you pair it with a variety of Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Papers.

To make this thank you from home card, I started with the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper. I love this stack of DSP because it has papers for so many celebrations–fall, Christmas, new years, birthdays. I chose two fall colors for my card: Pecan Pie and Cajun Craze.
Starting with a Very Vanilla Card Stock card base, I added a 4″ by 5-1/4″ Pecan Pie Card Stock mat to which I adhered a 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″ piece of plaid Pecan Pie DSP. I used the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the polka dotted Cajun Craze piece. I stamped the “thank you” sentiment in Versamark Ink, sprinkled on White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. I adhered this piece directly to the card front.
Next, I stamped one of the house images from the Humble Home set in Pecan Pie Ink onto Very Vanilla Card Stock. I colored this with Pecan Pie and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends and punched it out with the Humble Home builder punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this to the card front.
For the label, I stamped the “thank you for the sweet gift” onto a piece of Pecan Pie Card Stock. I also embossed this with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Then I used one of the Greetings of the Seasons dies to cut it out and adhered it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish the card, I tied a Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine bow and adhered it to the label with a Mini Glue Dot. Then I added three Adhesive-Backed Swirled Dots.
I hope you enjoyed my series of Humble Home cards, including this Thank You From Home Card. If you’re like me and you have to have this bundle, you can always click on the thumbnails below my signature and you’ll go directly to my online Stampin’ Up store where you can make your purchase!
