In the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of November. It’s a time set aside to reflect on our blessings with gratitude. We should be grateful always, but it’s nice to gather friends and family to give a special thanks for all things. Our Creation Station Design Team’s theme this month is “with gratitude.” I’m grateful to be part of this amazing team–for over 10 years!!
I’ve designed a side fold card using Stampin’ Up’s Regal Flora stamp set and dies. But what really makes this card shine is the Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper! I used the Old Olive and Basic Beige sheets for this card, but there are also Cherry Cobbler, Pretty Peacock, and Mossy Meadow sheets. It’s gorgeous!! See for yourself on this made with gratitude card!
I stamped the floral images in Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. The sentiment is from the So Sincere stamp set and stamped in Old Olive onto a Very Vanilla label that I cut with one of the Regal Flora dies. How pretty is that?! I cut a scrap of the Season of Elegance DSP with the texture die and slipped it under the sentiment piece and then I added a simple Gold Trim bow and some gold Blooming Pearls.
Here’s a peek at the card as it’s opened.
And here is the card fully opened. Look at that gorgeous DSP! I can’t get over how pretty it is!
Wouldn’t this be a lovely way to show gratitude and thanks? I hope you enjoyed my project. Now it’s time to move on to the next design team member Yvonne Spikmans-Van Bruggen who blogs at The Creative Teacup. You can also join us over on Instagram–start with me @kkstamper–and give us a follow!
Did you notice our new Creation Station Banner and buttons? Elizabeth Price designed them. She’s amazing!!! Thanks, Liz!
