If you’ve been perusing my blog lately, you’ll know that I’ve flipped for the cute Humble Home stamp set and coordinating builder punch. I made a bunch of projects with this bundle as part of an inspiration station at a local Stampin’ Up demonstrator gathering. I used a couple of those projects, including today’s Gingerbread Christmas card, for my monthly Christmas card stamp-a-stacks. This is such a fun card to make!

Don’t you just love that adorable Gingerbread Christmas house?! I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Card Stock and punched it out with the Humble Home Builder Punch. I used Light & Dark Crumb Cake, Light & Dark Real Red, and Light Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends to Color it,
I built the card by using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a 3-3/4″ by 5″ piece of Basic White Card Stock which I adhered to a 4″ by 5-1/4″ Real Red Card Stock mat. I wrapped a length of White Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon around this and then adhered it to a Thick Basic White Card Stock card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The circles are punched from the Take A Bow Designer Series Paper with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch. I adhered these directly to the card front. I adhered the Gingerbread Christmas house with some more Dimensionals.
I stamped the “Merry Christmas” greeting from the Humble Home set in Real Red Ink onto a Basic White scrap and cut it out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies. I slipped this under the ribbon and adhered to the card front with Dimensionals. I slipped a shorter piece of the White Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon under the ribbon on the front and tied a knot.
And do you spy what makes this Gingerbread Christmas house so dang cute?! Those Red & White Peppermint embellishments!
I made a YouTube video to show how to assemble this card, along with the Prince of Peace and Christmas Greenery Fun Fold cards, that we made at the October Christmas card stamp-a-stacks.
