My Stampin’ Up colleague, Cindy Fodor, designed the beautiful Shepherd’s Care stamp set and it’s perfect for Christmas cards–and sympathy cards–and thinking of you cards. I know I’m going to get a lot of use out of this card. I used the Prince of Peace stamp on this card, which is one of the cards we made at the October Christmas card stamp-a-stack. It’s a quick and easy card and perfect if you’d like to stamp a stack of cards!
I actually used the Gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes as an element on this card. I cut the cards in half and then cut the panel to 3-7/8″ by 5-1/8″. Next, I used one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut a circle out of the 4″ by 5-1/4″ Cherry Cobbler mat. I love to do that because it saves card stock and no one will see the hole once the card is assembled. I adhered a length of the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon to the card front and then adhered everything to a Thick Basic White Card Stock card base.
I stamped the Prince of Peace image in Cherry Cobbler onto Basic White and then stamped the star in Wild Wheat. I punched this out with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch and adhered it to the Cherry Cobbler circle I cut earlier. I adhered this to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish the card, I slipped a piece of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon under the ribbon on the card front and tied it into a bow. I then added three Gold Textured Dots.
This Prince of Peace card is so elegant and so easy, too! I’ve made a YouTube video that shows how to assemble this card and the other two cards we created during the October stamp-a-stack session.
